SUMMER IS ALL ABOUT...
Bathing suits, bright colours, being in the sun and ocean, and spending quality time with the ones I love.
MY MOST MEMORABLE SUMMERS...
Are going back to my mum’s hometown to visit my family in Jordan, my favourite memories always involve being with my relatives, who I don't see all year round. They would take me around discovering places in Jordan like the Dead Sea, Petra and Wadi Rum. I’ve always loved being by the water soaking up the sun and sun bathing.
DEFINE 'SUMMER IN THE CITY' STYLE?
Anything easy and breezy and colourful. I also love incorporating bucket hats or baseball caps, the sun can get too hot and they’re the perfect accessory to tie an outfit together with a pop of colour. Summer scarfs are also a favourite of mine. In Italy I’m styling them either as a top, a headscarf or even on the neck with a basic white tank to accessorise. You can even use one tied around the handle of a bag.
WHAT'S A TYPICAL ITALIAN DAY FOR YOU?
Carbs, carbs, gelato, carbs, gelatooo! Calories don't count on holiday.
NICE, WHERE?
In Rome, it's Trecca eating Spaghetti alla Puttanesca, followed by pistachio gelato from Giolitti! A perfect meal.
WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO?
“Darling Drive” by METTE and Sam Gellaitry.
CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT SUMMER SHOE?
It has to be Christopher Esber’s 'Minette' ballerina. My summer style centres around two icons I am forever channelling: Elsa Hosk and Carrie Bradshaw.
NEED WE ASK YOUR GO-TO SUMMER SNACK?
No... Ice cream!
