Read more about their unique tastes and passing down fashion advice as they take the streets of Paris.
“She LOVED the Stella McCartney boots and all the ballerinas, she is a real shoes lover, just like mummy.” – Thammy Salcedo
DESCRIBE YOUR DAUGHTER IN THREE WORDS.
Funny, smart and unique.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO IN PARIS?
I love strolling around with my bike, going to parks. The city is so beautiful it feels like a dream to walk around here everyday. I also love shopping and exploring the fashion in Paris. To me it’s one of a kind.
WHAT DO YOUR CHILDREN TEACH YOU?
My kids (Leo, 6, Luna, 3) have told me what real love is and what patience is. They taught me to live the moment and that family is the most important thing in the world. As long as I have them by my side, I will be fine.
IN WHAT WAYS ARE YOU AND LUNA SIMILAR AND DIFFERENT?
We are exactly the same. Not only did I look just like her when I was her age, but we have the same personality. It's actually crazy because sometimes when I hear her say something, I hear myself.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL MORNING LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
I wake up at 6:30, and prepare breakfast for the kids. While they eat I get ready. Then I get them ready and take them to school. After that I do my gym and go about my day, and the various work projects I have planned.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO TOGETHER?
Dance! We love to dance together and play dress up. Luna loves to dress up and gets her hair done.
ARE THERE ANY LIFE LESSONS YOU WANT TO TEACH HER?
To be kind, and humble. To be free to express herself, and to wear whatever she feels like. I don’t want her to be afraid to express her personality and creativity. She has been dressing herself since she was two years old, and I love that! She already knows what she likes.
ANYTHING FROM THIS SHOOT?
She LOVED the Stella McCartney boots and all the ballerinas, she is a real shoes lover, just like mummy.
HOW DO YOU DEFINE YOUR OWN STYLE?
For sure it’s different, weird... in a good way. I really have my own style and wear whatever comes to mind. I don't follow trends and stick to what I love. I feel beautiful and good in my skin in whatever I wear – and that, to me, shines through.
